THE world's fastest log splitter!
Slice through logs in just one second!
The new DR® RapidFire™ Log Splitters slice through logs up to six times faster than ordinary log splitters. The key is rugged and proven technology ingeniously repurposed for the task of splitting wood. The DR® RapidFire™ Splitters replace hydraulics with two massive cast iron flywheels and a rack and pinion system that delivers the force equivalent to a 34-ton hydraulic splitter (PRO-XL) or a 22-ton hydraulic splitter (PRO). Split dense hardwood logs up to 30" in diameter in record time—knotty pieces, too. Process up to one cord in one hour... cord after cord, season after season.
Overview
The Pulse Power System™ multiplies force to deliver a clean split.
Twin 74-lb (PRO-XL) or 55-lb (PRO) flywheels provide the power. In a one-second controlled stroke, the ram fires the log through the splitting wedge. Even the densest hardwoods are cleanly sliced apart. Then the ram AUTOMATICALLY RETRACTS. Full cycle time: less than 3 SECONDS!
Features
- Splits logs in just one second
- Delivers splitting force equivalent to a 28 HP hydraulic splitter (PRO-XL) or a 15 HP hydraulic splitter (PRO)
- Uses 1/3 the gas of a conventional splitter
- Increases productivity by up to 600%
Engine
- PRO-XL - The 6 HP chain driven, overhead cam Subaru engine produces 8.34 ft. lbs. torque for all-day power and low vibration.
- PRO - 5.5 HP DR® engine produces an impressive 880 ft. lbs of kinetic energy, to effortlessly split dense cords of wood.
